After experimenting with a few recipes,
we have settled on a favorite that we make most often.
This recipe tastes just like Coldstone's Cake Batter Ice Cream!
1 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup vanilla cake mix
Whisk together milk and sugar to dissolve sugar.
Stir in remaining ingredients until no lumps remain.
Run in ice cream maker 35 minutes.
(Remember to remove ice cream from the freezer bowl as soon as it is complete!)
